Soak ears
The second step in cleaning dog ears is soaking. Fill Cavalier's ear canal with a high-quality ear cleaner (your veterinarian can recommend one), and then massage the bottom of the ear for about 30 seconds. This allows the cleaner to soak and break down any crusted dirt and wax.
